Services

Advanced endoscopy, done gently.

Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a modern endoscopy unit, and long-term care for digestive and liver conditions — each explained before it begins.

  • Service

    Upper GI endoscopy (gastroscopy)

A thin, flexible camera examines the oesophagus, stomach and duodenum to find the cause of heartburn, upper abdominal pain, bleeding or anaemia. Biopsies can be taken in the same session, usually under light sedation.

  • Service

    Colonoscopy

Examines the whole large bowel to screen for colorectal cancer and investigate bleeding or a change in bowel habit. Polyps found during the test can usually be removed in the same session.

  • Service

    ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography)

Combines endoscopy and X-ray to treat bile and pancreatic duct problems without surgery: removing bile duct stones, placing stents to relieve blockage and jaundice, and taking samples.

  • Service

    SpyGlass cholangioscopy

An ultra-thin camera passed inside the bile ducts during ERCP gives a direct view, allows targeted biopsies of suspicious strictures and fragments large, difficult stones — helping detect tumours early.

  • Service

    Polypectomy and endoscopic resection

Removal of polyps and early, superficial lesions of the digestive tract during endoscopy, preventing their progression to cancer without the need for surgery.

  • Service

    Liver disease care

Assessment and long-term follow-up of abnormal liver tests, fatty liver, viral hepatitis and cirrhosis with its complications, including endoscopic screening and banding of oesophageal varices.

  • Service

    H. pylori testing and treatment

Diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori by stool, breath or biopsy testing, treatment with a suitable combination of antibiotics and acid suppression, and confirmation that the infection has cleared after treatment.

  • Service

IBS and inflammatory bowel disease care

Telling irritable bowel syndrome apart from inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis) with targeted tests and colonoscopy, followed by a personalised treatment, diet and follow-up plan.
